NEW DESIGN & INNOVATION
Advanced RD team are continued to design new products and innovative structure to meet the continuous developing market requirements and fashions. Advanced cooperate with many industrial laboratories to approach the requirements of real racers and fashions from different industrial ideas and sports concepts. We are eager for patent application in products and processes, that will makes us be exclusive in the specific technologies. Specific structures and designs are put into market, such like the inner ribs in tubes, the carbon dropouts of frames and forks, big BB for high pedaling stiffness , we did use patents to protect them and got more competitive in the market.
 
MATERIALS & PROCESSES DEVELOPING
Advanced RD team are chasing for ultimate materials on bike frames, forks and parts for creating BRAND VALUE and IMAGE. As well as the concern such like racing function of racer is well cared. We were successfully on NANO composites and HIGH Tg composites, that makes us be able to design super light and highly function products in the world. Now we introduced ultimate strength of T800 carbon fiber and ultimate modulus of 60 ton for optimizing products function as well as weight. Vacuum process is very important in composite forming, as known it is aviation process but we would to introduce in bicycle parts as well. Graphics showed In-Plane Shear Strength Test (All Testing Methods are according to ASTM D3518). It showed NANO composite has more 27% strength than general resin. Because we made prepreg by ourselves, we can easily change carbon fiber, resin system, resin contain, FAW (fiber weight per square meter),… according to our RD requests.
 
FUNCTION TEST LAB
Advanced RD team put racing functions as very important things, for real situation, stiffness to weight (STW value) and comfort are both be considered. Most frame could reach one of them but Advanced could get successful on both of them. Customer and end users’ needs are always the most important thing to meet, Advanced team are always creating new test machines and methods to meet such specific requirements. Since we had set up TOUR magazine function test machines, as well as customized test machines and methods, including all updated CEN tests, we could develop suitable products in coincidence with customers needs, at functions as well as strength. We had tested the Advanced frames to compare the frames of TOUR magazine reports then our frames are very competitive than any others. Advanced lab also create damping inspection machines and comfort measurement machines to get achievement on riding comfortable issue.
 
3D MODELING CAD/CAE/SIMULATION
Related to 3D modeling, it’s very necessary that is to meet an artist needs by computer program for industrials. Advanced RD team could create customers requirements even only 2D or hand drawing graphics into 3D model in a very short time. Advanced mold center could meet prototype in a short time, from 3D modeling, RP (rapid prototyping) to mold tooling are all in one, that means totally meeting customers requirements and continuous changing market. For meeting short developing time we could simulates the lay-up design of the products to speed up the time to mass production, as well as to the market. Finite element analysis is a very useful tool for approach this target. By CEN test standard we set up such boundary conditions to simulate lay-up design.
 
CUSTOMIZED DESIGN & TESTING
Customers ideas are always be put the most important things to do. Advanced team cooperate with customers to create each innovative concepts into real products to create the value of products and image of brands. The value of customization is always that each racer would like to be the leader of fashion not a follower, they don’t want “me too” product. We could totally meet the requests, even it’s a dream but we make it come true. Different tests are needed for approach this target, as well as we make test machines in coincidence with customers’, that makes us to walk in the same successful way as customers.
 
PROCESS CONTROL & QC SYSTEM
Advanced production teams are well-trained and disciplined. They following work instruction to finish each process, by this, checking points and checking lists are all recorded for tracking all the producing histories. Check and check are needed in each key process. QC teams have followed all CEN standards to check strength, as well as specific test standards of customers. In process quality control system are all set up in each station. Finished inspection is the most important and inspectors do checking jobs by customer sides. Different processes are all in our production lines for different products, Monocoque, tube to tube , lug bonding processes are all introduced in all production lines. Our production engineering is chasing for such different market requirements and technologies.
